There are a variety of materials and methods used in creating plaques in the awards industry. At Awards & Images, we have three series of plaques that incorporate many materials and methods.
In our Award Series, engraving is done on a metal or plastic plate which is attached to an attractive board. It is a favorite of many and is our least expensive line.
Our Image Series plaques are made of solid wood. Engraving can be lasered directly into the wood or on a metal plate or a combination of the two. Meant for significant recognition and permanence, they allow for uniqueness of design not available in the Award Series.
Our Specialty Series includes solid surface materials (see Solid Surface page), etched metal plates, acrylic plaques, and any other unique idea that can be achieved.
